OK, time for me to look at the bright side

Alright, no sense in crying over the loss of Big Al anymore--it won't change anything. Big Al, I'm going to miss you, and I'll be keeping tabs on you. So hopefully we'll see you become the Man in Minnesota. And who knows--maybe one day we'll see you back in Boston.

Now that I've said my goodbyes, its time to look at the very bright side of our team. We are legitimately the top team in the east. Detroit, Cleveland, meet your newest rivals for the eastern conference crown!!! Chicago, sit down for at least another year. Your time will come, but it won't come just yet. Not with Garnett, Pierce, and R-Allen clawing for a championship ring.

We could very possibly have the best trio in the league. We can definitely match up with any three the league has to offer. Our trio are all go-to guys who we can go to at anytime. How in the world can any team load up on any one of them? Ray Allen is going to find a ton of wide open jumpers as teams try to stop Pierce from penetrating into the lane (where he'll be looking for KG to slam one home).

My goodness, think of the world of possibilities we'll have with three All-Stars on the same team.

Now all we need are help at Center and a veteran PG.

One of things I look forward to watching next is Rondo pentrating the lane and then throwing an across the body pass to KG on the free throw lane, then KG flying through the lane for a +1 dunk.

Or the first game that KG walks to the scorer's table and does his talcum cloud ritual? I've gotta get the NBA ticket this year.

Are you excited yet Derren? I know it's much harder to analyze KG, and Ray Allen and PP becuase they are just awesome. It's almost boring being this good already. Not really but it's funny.

I'm definitely excited. I'm sure we are going to be one of the top teams in the east. But, I'll have to wait until we add other key pieces before I deem us Eastern Conference champs.

That's good to hear. The thing I really like about PP, Allen and Garnett is they aren't just position players. All 3 of them are all around basketball players and can do a lot of different things. This team should be really fun to watch. I also think each guy is a class act and there wont be any any ego issues. From listening to these guys during the press conference each guy sounded elated to finally be in a good situation but also determined to make this work like their weren't any guarentees.
