Pierce has always been better than Allen, so I dont think they would have.
Probably would have wanted Banks Davis and I dunno LaFrentz?

Ray Allen has been a franchise player since his days playing with the Bucks. I can't imagine Ray Allen 3 years ago would only cost us MB and Lafrentz to get him. Especially coming off a season averaging 23.9 pts 3.7 ast 3.4 rebs per game.
Pierce is a better rebounder than Ray Allen. Other than that, these two are pretty much on-par when your discussing best SF/SG in the NBA. I think alot of people underrate how good Ray Allen really is. We'll see how much of a difference this team is with the Tandem of Allen/Pierce absolutely bombing the rim from deep with Jefferson controling the paint at ease.
