....or so it seems. Yi's Chinese club says it will block his move to Milwaukee.
If Ainge really likes Yi, as it seems he did prior to the draft, our name may surface as possible destinations for Yi. I hear Sacramento could be ideal for Yi.

I guess a town like Milwaukee can always hope, right Eddie?
I like Milwaukee. For such a small city, tons of people come from there
The Fonz The Cunninghams Potsie Ralph Lavern AND Shirley Wayne and Garth (the original name Mila wak kay from the native americans)
and they make good beer

Yi, wasn't this the guy who wouldn't workout against anyone? Except for the chair. One word - bust.

Future 1st round pick is what I would offer.

It seems that the Bucks took a big chance to draft him. They were refused permission to come watch his workout and made it clear that he only wanted to go to certain cities. This is a mess with the Chinese government dictating what a team can and can't do with him. I wouldn't want him under those circumstances.

YI is over-rated, the government is aware of it, and is protecting his interests. Again, bust.

Yi is a high risk high reward player. This is the type of move that could very well put us in the upper tier in the NBA for many years to come if it worked,If it didn't work guess what we would be sitting with the sisters of mercy in the NBA for some time.(Oh yeah we all ready are).To get this guy it is going to cost you Gerald,1st. rd. pick and one other player. This is a Red type deal a deal like this could be Danny's legacy.

Yi isn't really a high risk if we can get him at a cheap price. Future 1st round picks isn't a high price. Giving up GG on the other hand could be costly but, at the same time if Yi comes around to fulfill his talent then this could be a trade that reshape this franchise.

Now is the time to save for contract extensions. Ex: Gomes, Allen, Jefferson.

Now is the time to save for contract extensions. Ex: Gomes, Allen, Jefferson. Jefferson will see around 10-14 mil per year. I fully expect Ainge to pay him or atleast match any contract offer on the market. I don't know how much Gomes will cost. I estimate around 4-6 mil. TA is a wildcard coming to contract negtioation. if he's fully healthy he'll get a decent contract worth around the MLE type dollars. If he doesn't go to old form, probably roughly 3-4 mil. 12 mil + 5 mil + 3 mil = $20mil to keep the three of them? we should be able to keep atleast 2 of them. If not, Jefferson is our highest priority.
