Just look at the number of wings we have (SFs and SGs) and the brewing situation we have and its a fairly good guess that someone will be gone this offseason.
For certain, we have Pierce, Ray Allen, Tony Allen, and Gerald Green already on the payroll. Brandon Wallace has just been added, and Allan Ray has given Ainge another month to decide his future in Boston. And for the sake of not making a huge mess, I'll leave Ryan Gomes out of this picture (he'll probably be pushed to SF, since we have Leon Powe and Glen Davis fighting for the backup minutes at PF).
That makes 6 players (not including Gabe Pruitt, who can also be used at SG) who play the 2 and 3. There's no way we'll keep this many wing players--not when we are looking for additional bodies at the 5 and backup PG.
Be prepared to say good bye to one, or some of these guys. If no trades are made, Ainge won't be able to sign Allan Ray, but that still leaves us with a crowded roster full of wing players.

I think DA is waiting to see if anyone can be Delonte and he's looking at Pruitt and Ray, but only Delonte is Delonte and we will miss him

hmm, let's see: #34 and #20 are starters tony allen is injured and no one knows whether he makes it back on a nba level allan ray is probably as good as gone gg could be trade bait or could be 6th man the role of gomes is question mark, especially after the wallace signing pruitt will probably be groomed to be a pg and probably in nbdl
one thing that i know - we need size - that would make gomes the odd man out. sure if we can make some deal involving someone good coming our way then gg will probably go. but yeah derren - something's gotta give

Nobody bothered to mention Brian Scalabrine in all this mess. I guess he is our MVP
