Last night was the first time I got to see him play, and for the time he was out there, he did look pretty decent. He was using his athleticism to rebound, block shots, and defend. I don't want to hype him up and say he looked awesome, but for someone I originally had no interest in watching, he did some things that caught my attention.
I don't know why he was ever thought of as a Center or PF--he looks like a SF all the way. He's too slim to be a 4 or 5, and he's got the game of a SF.
How did you guys think of him?

He looks decent. He's long and athletic and could be that defensive 3 we've been looking for if he can play some defense. His body reminds me of posey a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the team over Ray.

I liked Brandon Wallace. he reminded me somewhat of Tayshun Prince. He is long and active on defense and on the boards. I can see Danny maybe making a 3 for 1 trade and then there would be room on the roster for this kid.

I see the roster right now as:
Rondo/Telfair/Pruitt Allen/Ray/Allen Pierce/Green Jefferson/Gomes/Powe/Davis/Scalabrine Perkins/Ratliff
That is 15 players. I think they will try to milk Ratliff and Allen on the IR as long as possible and probably send Davis and/or Pruitt to the d-league.
Also I dont think Telfair's spot on the team is completely safe. He maybe packaged, hopefully with Ratliff and Scalabrine for a PF or C.
With 13 players under-contract and another 2 (Pruitt and Davis) soon to be signed (probably) as of right now I dont know how Wallace will make the team.

We read about Cs needing a big man and a veteran point guard. Going to be hard to get those IMHO. If one of either is signed, seems to me that Ray loses out. Afraid I don't see a 3 for 1 in the future. But Herald article sure sounds like Ainge likes what he has seen on Wallace.

Wallace wasn't a big scorer in college (just under 10 ppg) but his rebounding numbers were very good----almost 10 a game.

A long athletic SF who can play decent defense. Probably be a role player who can come in for defensive help i.e. Justin Reed.

I think they ought to let him play a whole nother game before annointing him. But they should definitely be willing to take him over Ray.
