Ak47 is a strong possiblity especially with the season he had this year. I would be worried that AK47 is mentally distraught to revert back to his all-star form. Hopefully, if we did make a trade for him it won't cost us much and maybe putting him back at PF he'll put up similar stats that he had done 2 years ago.

after seeing how poorly Pruit and Rondo are playing in summer league I think we really need a vet like Atkins. One more year of learning for these guys isn't so bad at all.

One thing for sure, there is no reason for us to trade away Gomes right now. He has far far more value to us than anyone else. The key with Gomes is even though his contract is up next year, he will be a restricted FA- so even if we don't re-up him before FA, we will get a chance to see what another team offers him and still be able to match that. I figure he will be somewhere in the Perk range (4 at 16), but that is just a guess. I want Camby as much as the next guy, but don't be so quick to throw Gomes in any of these deals- he actually is a "veteran" that helps us a lot more than a throw-in in these deals...

After looking at the list of free agent pgs I think the best available after Atkins and B Knight are Royal Ivey then Smush Parker, then Tavis Diener. It's that bad. We might just want to go with Bassy or Pruitt. Whoever wins. Or maybe we could make a trade for someone's backup. I wonder if we could get Delonte for GG straight up. Who am I kidding. Of course not. Not if they've been watching the summer league. We'd have to offer a 2nd rounder as a sweetner.

I don't think we want to go with Bassy or Pruitt. Someone will be added. Who knows who that will be at this point. The C's could look at trades, or overseas as well.

Knight may be an option, since he is a solid, veteran PG.

So I guess the Nuggets just signed Chucky Atkins. Even with their salary situation and all.

The Herald said not to expect Knight because several league officials have said he is a problem in the locker room. Not sure what that means, but he has been on a lot of different teams and then cut or traded when his numbers are decent.

I wonder who "league officials" are and what "a problem" is.
