Another guy we should be looking at imo.. Knight and Rondo throwing passes to Ray and Pierce and Al would be the sweetness.

I agree 100%, I thought that the minute I saw they put him on waivers. We can pick him up for 1.5 million. That would be a bargain and solve our back up PG problem.

well let's see. Rondo is 6ft 1, and our big men are 6ft 10, so bringing in a 5 ft 8 pg.....I guess DAs strategy is to try to win using 4th tier "stars" like PP and play small ball ALL the time cause we don't have anyone taller than 6ft 10. Oh and don't forget the damaged goods. Raef, Wally, Ray...gotta have damaged goods.

That fat guy averaged 20 plus points and 10 plus rebounds in the SEC.

I like Glen Davis and I like that pick. But still if this were a movie we'd have all the makings of a team that might surprise some people. We should have kept Delonte though. He was a character as well.

I wonder what Tractor Traylor averaged in the Big Ten.

The thing I like about Glen Davis is he is actually a very good basketball player and really understands how to play. He's one of those guys you see on the playground just doign things a big guy like him shouldn't be able to do. I do have concerns about his lift though.. He can't get off the ground. Hopefully he'll get in shape somewhat. i like Davis better than Tractor or Sweetney or any of those guys. Davis actually has game and plays hard and is a team player..

Then why was he a 2nd rounder while they were 1rst rounders? He hurt his ankle the day before the draft too. DA just can't stay away from the injuries.

DAvis definately is a high bust risk, but as a 2nd rounder its a good pick imo. I like Davis. I never was big on Sweetney or Tractor. They have different style of games. Davis can shoot and post up, rebound, pass etc...... He's pretty versatile for a guy his size. NBA Gm's are morons sometimes. Sweetney was drafted like 5 I think. That was retarded.

I just think an NBA big man should be tall and able to jump. There were 3 7 footers available and Josh McRoberts. Maybe he turns out better than them. I guess he will get his opportunity. I wonder if he will beat out Powe. They're about the same height. I guess Davis is the better center.

we needed size..... Davis gives us someone to take up some space in there. Seriously its goign to be difficult to bowl him over. It will keep opposing teams out of the paint at least. i dont know if he'll pan out but it made sense to me. It was worth a shot

How is he going to block shots? How will he outrebound players that are taller and can jump and have longer arms? How will he play winded? How will he score against taller players with long arms that can jump to block his shots? Did you ever play basketball against short fat kids? How do they do on the court with a bunch of tall gazelles? I wonder how we did in the drills.

Danny fortson did alright. I'm not saying Big Baby will, but it does happen. He needs to get down to around 280 and stay there.

Danny Fortson was a rebounding machine who had the best physical workouts of anyone in his draft class. And he became an ok backup who bounced around the league
