I'm already there. You can't tell me these guys beat out Lebron next year and go to the finals

For everyone complaing about the deal. Who in this draft at number #5 is going to improve us? For me it wasn't even about durant, it was either oden or bust. Ray allen averages 26 pts a game in a tougher western conference. The key to the deal was not giving up jefferson. Wally is always hurt, delonte is a serviceable player, nothing special, and again the number 5 picks dosen't gurantee us anything. Remember were in the eastern conference not the west, i love this trade.

I totally totally disagree. Noah was predicted as the top pick last year. He plays the position we need help at. What has changed? if you were a center on another team you would not have wanted the Celts to pick Noah, cause then you have your choice of playing against Perk who will kill you, or Noah who will be in your head, face, and ear the whole game. But no. We have to get a 32 year old. Brilliant.

Ray Allen's allstar years are long gone. I could understand it if we were on the verge of something but its ridiculous. Ray Allen cant play defense. He's got maybe 2 or 3 years left and could very well get hurt at this point in his career and decline rapidly. We should have taken Yi.

I think this trade pretty much put us into win now mode. Allen for 2 or 3 years? He has a 3 year contract. We just won't resign him when its all said and done. I hope Ainge gets on the phone with Minny. If we can get our hands onto KG, we might have a shot to do some damage.

I dont know what to think. Ray is good, but he is going to be 32 this season. One thing I will say is that if we are making this deal, we may as well go all the way and trade for KG. We would have no future, but I guarantee with PP, KG, and Allen, we will play in a couple finals in the next 4 years.

I guess we'll know more when camp opens this fall. DA might not be done moving players.
