Should have traded Pouting Paulie, kept the 5th pick and Jefferson. However, WAR went for the quick fix. Short window here, 3 years at best. Then, hello lottery for many, many years to come.

I'm worried about that too, Aqua. But we're in it now, and there's nothing we can do about it, so I decided to keep my eyes focused on the here and now. But yes, I do think about our future, and wonder how we are going to replenish our talent. Jefferson is a star player in the making, and Gomes is a very solid player who comes in very handy. Gerald may, or may not reach his ceiling, but if he does, that means we've lost 3 big keys of our future--and that's going to be hard to replace. |
