Hi I am new to this bored and wanted to ask some questions about this place to see if I will fit it.
1- Is this the typical Celtics Antoine Walker hate board?
2- Overall is it a pro Ainge or pro Doc or pro Wyc Grousbeck?
3- Are the moderators fair or do they do like other boards and dictate the overall opinion?
4- Is this a pro Pierce board overall or a hate Pierce, Jefferson is the new star Pierce isn't needed type of board?
Thanks for any answers I can get.

All opinions are welcome on this board. I try to look at all point of views the same becuz to be honest there isn't really a right answer.
Now to answer your questions:
1. I love Walker with the celtics. He is pretty good ball-player only problem i had with is his shot selection. Definitely was a trooper when he played for us. You can't really hate someone who loved to be a Celtic as much as Walker did.
2. We're mostly pro-Ainge especially when it comes to his drafting. But, we're talking trades.... lets say that isn't AInge's strong suite lol.
Not a big fan of Doc coaching but, overall he has kept his troops in-line. Only problem is we haven't seen results from him so I think this is the year he needs to prove himself.
Grousbeck wants to win. Lets see if he keeps his word when it comes to paying luxury tax or not.
3. Moderators are definitely fair. We only dictate members who verbally attack others or do harm to this board. Other than that, we really don't see people come around causing trouble.
4. Love Pierce and Jefferson. Lets keep them together shall we?

Thanks for the answers but I doubt I will be posting here much. I am not an Ainge fan and eventually my opinion will not make people happy. Fact is I liked Walker, bad shot selection and all and I don't see the Celtics winning a title with Pierce as its best player. I also have questions about Al Jefferson being that it was his third year in the NBA and it took him that long to even care about doing his job but I appreciate your answers and the time it took for you to answer them.

We are a knights of the round table type board. We don't cater but everyone has their day here. We aren't snobby. Nobody knows too much or too little or ever will. We don't swear a lot. We have manners. Nobody gets mad at anybody here. Well almost never. We've had maybe two or three testy moments in 2 years, but that's about it. Check out our myspace and Loy's Place Blog.

Truthteller, Welcome aboard, or to the board. To answer your inquires: *Antoine who? We usually only post about present Celtics. *Danny (we usually trust, esp if he pulls his draft magic). *Doc, favorable, except for his rotations. *Moderators - only C-17 throws the dung, and only at the roadrunner. *Pierce, he is still the truth here.

Welcome to the board. I hope you stick around.
1- Is this the typical Celtics Antoine Walker hate board? There isn't much hate for Walker here, actually we don't discuss him much since he isn't on the Celtics any more. I liked Walker because he liked being a Celtic.
2- Overall is it a pro Ainge or pro Doc or pro Wyc Grousbeck? I personally have backed Danny for the most part. He has done a good job drafting and I like the core of young players he has built. I have respected him for having patience and not making panic moves. I have bashed him somewhat for his trades and free agent signings at times. If he pulls this KG trade and guts the team for one aging player, I lose a whole lot of respect for him though. i like Doc but feel that he is a terrible coach.
3- Are the moderators fair or do they do like other boards and dictate the overall opinion? The mods here are very fair. Attacking other members isn't allowed and we try to keep a clean board language wise. It is more like a family here than just a board.
4- Is this a pro Pierce board overall or a hate Pierce, Jefferson is the new star Pierce isn't needed type of board? I like Pierce. It would be great if he could finish his career here. However, if he demands a trade because the Celtics aren't building fast enough, it wouldn't be the worst thing to happen to the Celtics.

Hey welcome to the fourms.
this is a civil place where ideas and opinions are tossed out in a respectful manner (re: no cussing, no hate filled tirads against opinions)
the opinions vary.
I think Ainge is reaching put up or shut up. He's been building the team for a while, no rather than safeguarding his job by drafting another project, this team needs to turn the corner and make some steps forward. Ainge is the leader, he's responsible. Doc.. Doc has got to go. If we make the playoffs next year, he'll coach us right back out of them IMO.
I enjoyed watching Walker when he played for the C's. I'd throw up in my mouth if he returned to the team now though. He's D-U-N.
I love Paul, he's been a loyal Celtic and appreciates what it means to be a Celtic. I don't know what to say if you're not enjoying Al Jefferson and don't think he's finally arrived. Keep in mind he was a HS player, most of them take time to develop (Jermaine O'Neal, T-Mac, KG, Kobe) thus I haven't given up on Gerald Green just yet, but he's running outta time too.
I think Al is the future of the team, but Paul should be the present. Actually they should be the dynamic duo next year.
I pray Rondo becomes out best PG since DJ.

Hi - congratulations on your 1st Kool-Aid point. Drinks are on FLCeltfan 1) Walker is not that skilled but I liked his energy and guts. I personally don't think the Celtics have gotten their swagger back with the departure of Walker. 2) Personally, I think the entire management team should be scrapped. But most like Danny, hate Doc, and neutral on Wyc. 3) Our moderators our fair. This is a friendly board and a lot less busy than Celticsblog and Realgm. Check out Loy's Place. 4) Pierce has been a good green soldier but I think it might be time to move him and try to build a new team around Al Jefferson, Kendrick Perkins, Tony Allen, Gerald Green, and Rajon Rondo. We aren't having much luck acquiring veteran help that Pierce requires and I am decidedly against trading Al Jefferson or the #5 pick for a one year rental on Shaun Marion.

I got a wife, kid on the way, mortgage, car payment, hunger, the desperate desperate need for a new computer oh and I do go outside sometime and bang a little white ball all over the great outdoors and sometimes into a hole. They ask for a lot of money for the priviledge of feeling frustrated.
