This is a big question to ask ourselves. If we really want to grab Joakim Noah because of his high intensity and defensive ability, we have to make sure Memphis doesn't take him before we do. If we have any incling that they could take him at 4, we need to swap picks with Atlanta (3rd) and take Noah before Memphis.
From the looks of it, Atlanta really needs a PG (Tyrone Lue is currently running the show), and they want Mike Conley Jr. He should be there at 5 if we swap picks.

At this point, I would like Noah, Brewer, or Wright. All would be good picks. I know one thing, Danny won't be hyping up the player he plans to take. He will put up a smoke screen and won't tip his hat

i think conley is the one who will be gone at 3 or 4. either portland trades with atlanta for the pick or memphis drafts him.

Why would we take anyone not named Duraant who plays the 3?

Not sure what you mean, Ferbo, but Durant will be gone by the time the 3rd pick comes up.
Porltand: Oden Seattle: Durant Atlanta: ? Memphis: ? Boston: ?
So if Ainge covets Noah, and so do the Grizzlies, Ainge will have to find a way to get Atlanta to swap picks so we pick in front of Memphis.

I think Memphis will take Noah or Brandan Wright in an effort to sell tickets and makeup for the loss of a top two pick, which isn't good cause I'm hoping we'll do the same thing and I'm not sure we will. They also have to think of a possible replacement for Gasol

They may take Brandon Wright because he's from Tennessee, but I wouldn't bank on that. I'd try to swap picks with Atlanta so that we can secure Joakim Noah.

I'm guessing Atlanta takes Noah or Conley. Memphis will take Horford or Wright.

I'm guessing Atlanta takes Noah or Conley. Memphis will take Horford or Wright. Atlanta needs help at both positions (bigs and PG). I think they'd be better of taking a PG because they don't have any depth there. At least they have a promising Sheldon Williams at PF, and for the time being, Zaza Pachulia will do at C.

I pray and pray we don't waste teh #5 pick on Noah.
Wright, Brewer or Horford are the ones to take IMO.
heard Ainge likes Yi.. which makes me go YIKES! with so much obvious talent why roll the dice on a question mark?
yes brewer is a 3, but he's a better swingman than anyone not named Pierce on this team.
There are a lot of good PF/part time Center's in this draft. The C's 2nd option at C is Olowokandi... take a big man.. just not a over hyper/undertalented Noah please.
