Seattle has the 2nd pick and will most likely take Kevin Durant. That will make Lewis immediately expendable, IMO.
Bringing him in as our SF and moving Pierce to the 2 will give us some needed size. Plus, he's a proven star veteran who's a big mismatch at SF.

Who gives a smoothie about Rashard Lewis?
Watch your language, Eja.

I don't care about lewis. He isn't a franchise changing player. Man this stinks.

I agree.
On a different angle, since Memphis ain't in the top 2 either, they may be willing to give us Gasol now.

He is a softie, cant play D and doesnt shpw up when the game is on the line at either end... This franchise is TOAST.... Tommy might as well kill himself... I am arranging for nukes to be brought to the Garden... I am gonna kill Wyc, Danny and Doc in that order and then myself.

We could trade the pick to portland so they can take Conley. Maybe get Aldridge or Randolph in return?
Or Seattle situation we could pry away Robert Swift along with Rashard Lewis for Ratliff, probably Green and the 5th pick.

Sprash, if Gasol comes here, he won't be the "man", so the pressure will be off of him. Put him in a 3rd scorer's role, and he'll be big.

If we could get him on the cheap, I wouldnt mind getting gasol. If they'd take Ratliff, green, any combo of Gomes/Allen/West and next years #1(heck, make it unprotected to sweeten the pot), I'd do that deal. Take Brewer with our pick and roll with a line up of:
Gasol AlJeff Pierce Brewer Rondo
With a bench rotation of Perk/Wally/random back-up PG.
However, I highly doubt that Grizz would even look at that deal.
