Have the Celtics official severed Telfair from the club, or is it just a formality now? Wasn't sure.

I think the whole gun incident was blown out of proportion (especially on Wyc's end). From what Ainge said, they are still looking to trade him, but if there are no suitors, he may still be with the team next season. Ainge seems to still have a soft spot for Telfair. Its not definite that Telfair is gone, as Wyc made it seem--though there's still a good possibility that he is.

If Telfair returns, and gets his jumper consistent this summer, he can be a terrific backup PG.
