Those are pretty spot on, cept I'd move Rasheed into the top 6 on the "now" list.

It's just that Sheed gets lots of techs and he's been shooting a lot of 3s the way Toine used to and his percentages are down and his last few games he hasn't played so well and he's getting older. But he might be resting up for the playoffs. Also I should have put Haslem around 9 or 10

After Okafur, this conference has a huge drop-off talentwise for big men. I'm curious why Eddie Curry wasn't on this list? Or Antwan Jamsion?
Those two should be ahead of Villanenuva atleast. Curry could be a top-5 big man as well.

Him and Dirk and Pau aren't really classic big men to me. They are more hybrid guys but they do play the big man postion so I guess they belong there.

Curry. Not saying Curry is anymore near Howard's caliber but, the guy is better than half the guys listed in the top 15 in the East.

you're overlooking someone I've got to watch all year.
Chris Bosh, is miles ahead of Howard IMO and with Shaq's unrealiable health, I'd have him number 1.
Consider; Bosh averaged 22.6 ppg, 10.7 rpg and 2.5 apg as well as 1.3 bpg. He was second amongst eastern forwards in scoring. Only Lebron was ahead as a forward. He hits near 50% FG although he can make and take 15-18 footers without effort. Hits his FT, not a common thing among big men and can take and make (34%) 3's. When you talk about low post moves, he's in the top 4-5 post players with polish. In close games he's the teams go to man and has hit game winners this year. He's a complete PF and is just below Duncan, KG and Dirk IMO. I guess playing in T.O. makes him a bit underappreicated, but you'll change you mind once you see him play a few playoff games. bump everyone else down and put Bosh at the top!

Bosh is a nice player, and probably a lot of his underrated-ness comes from playing for Toronto.
I personally prefer big men who play in the post majority of the time and occasionally take midrange jumpers. Bosh plays oppositely--but nonetheless, he is a really good player and one can't complain about his production..

If Bosh keeps developing the fire, like Garnett learned, he has a chance to be as good as KG. Who knows maybe better. But as Derren has said, he's got the love of the jumper and needs to go post aggressively on a consistent basis. He already does and when he does. you wish he'd just do that all the time. It will come. Bosh is better than Al and Howard, as well. Bosh also has pretty much the same stats as KG this year. Garnett edges in rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. Bosh has better FG%. Bosh would be great here in Boston!

I guess there is alot to factor, like a player's health. offense/defense, etc.

Bosh is the man in Toronto, and the offense goes through him a lot. I think Jefferson can have a smiliar impact if he was the man in Boston (for now, Pierce is still the man). Have you guys seen how good Al's midrange jumper has become? I felt he had one since his rookie season, but was told not to use it (that's my conspiracy theory to force him to develop his post game and not just rely on his jumper). I don't know the stats, but he must have been hitting nearly 80% of his midrange jumpers the past 2 weeks. He was probably taking 3 shot attemps per game from midrange, and I remember him only missing a couple.
Its really amazing to see how much Al has improved. We gotta lock Clifford Ray up long term--don't let him get away.
