There's Perkins, getting his grubby paw on the ball and the game goes to the Celtics in a good one.

Gary Tanguay and Donny are talking about how for years there was one guy that used to take the final shot and that tonite that may have changed.
This is good timing. The other covetous teams are going to say we were tanking and that the proof is that the moment we clinched the 2nd spot we beat the champs on their home court. Tomorrow in the NBA Carnival blog Celtics Green (if all goes well) is going to send a message to all the people accusing us of tanking. We already put the message on Loy's and our myspace.

Perk played an admirable game against Shaq. A few of Jefferson's rebounds came courtesy of Perk wrestling with Shaq to free Al to get his hands on the board. Both Jefferson and Perk had some terrific blocks. Al owned Walker in the paint--its not even funny. I counted 2 - 3 blocks by Jefferson as Walker tried to take it to the basket, and they were all clean and decisive.
At first, Delonte had the ball and was milking the clock down, and I had my palms up in the air wondering what Doc was thinking. Lucky for us we ended up getting the ball back, and this time the ball got to the right hands. Jefferson needs to get the ball in crunch time because he's gives us the best chance to score near the basket.

It is kind of fun to read the game comments posted here and to read AJs name as making a low-post move---hook, driving past his man, short jumper, dunk. Looks like we finally have a low=post guy for first time in a good while. Scratching my head---do we have to go all the way back to McHale to talk about a low-post guy in green?

I think Radja was great, but he wasn't so great down low. Jefferson is the deal my friends! I'd say I haven't seen such flashes of low post brilliance since Mchale

Damn. What, 16-17 years without a lot post game?
I hope DA doesn't give up on Powe. He seems to have some Paul Silas in him.

Did anyone notice Rondo out rebound 7 footer Earl Barron twice in the last 4 minutes? Do you think Chris Paul or even Shaun Livingston could do that?
