I got this from Bob Day over on Celtics Blog and it is too good not to share here. Rondo's line was pretty incredible for a rookie PG. Happy Easter everyone.

Three point shooting was pretty lousy last night as was the free-throw shooting, but all in all, most of our your Celtics had some pretty good numbers against the Pacers. Of all of them, one set in particular stood out...
Rajon Rondo: 14 Points, 8 Rebounds, 8 Assists, 7 Steals, 2 Turnovers.
That's not too shabby for a rookie point guard. Some were sold on him before he ever played an NBA game. Most of us weren't. That perspective has changed quite a bit though. The kid has sort of been making believers out of us this year. Had last night's game gone into an overtime or two, Rondo might well have gone joined an elite group of the few NBA players who have accomplished quadruple-doubles (without double-digit turnovers). My understanding is that, in the entire history of the NBA, it has only happened four times.
Nate Thurmond, October 18, 1974, Chicago vs. Atlanta; 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, 12 blocks.
Alvin Robertson, February 18, 1986, San Antonio vs. Phoenix; 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals.
Hakeem Olajuwon, March 29, 1990, Houston vs. Milwaukee; 18 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists, 11 blocks.
David Robinson, February 17, 1994, San Antonio vs. Detroit; 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 blocks.
We love Rajon's work ethic, speed, athleticism, guts, smarts and...what about those hands! Yes, indeed. What about them? Well, you just knew it was only a matter of time before someone came up with something like this. Behold, Rondo's hands!
