Sixers inbound to start the 4th. Celtics pressing in the back court. Sixers get it across. Smith misses a jumper and Powe rebounds. Gomes hits a jumper. Gomes, Powe, Telfair, West and Ray on the floor. Ray gets a steal and he passes long up court to Gomes who travels on the way to the basket. Iguodala misses inside and Celtics come away with it. Ray called for an offensive foul as he drives to the basket. Ray not having a good game. Ball is knocked out of bounds and they will inbound with 15 on the SC. Smith is fouled inside by gomes. He hits both FTs as the second one goes in and out and back in again. Gomes called for a foul away from the ball, his 4th. Travel called on Iguodala. Ray hits a 3 off the catch. Korver misses a jumper and Gomes rebounds. Ray misses a 3 and Dalembert rebounds. korver is fouled by Telfair on the turnaround jumper. Korver misses the first and hits the second. Travelling called on Gomes. Time out with Sixers up 70-63 and 8:59 left in the 4th

Sixers inbound in the back court and bring it up. Ibuodala misses and Hunter rebounds and misses and Gomes rebounds. West hits a 3 to cut the lead to 4. Offensive foul on Dalembert. Gomes hits a jumper. Dalembert misses a jumper and Celtics come away with it. Powe gets the ball inside and is hammered by Korver. He hits both FTs to tie the game at 70 with 7:19 left in the 4th.

Sixers inbound and bring it up. Carney hits a wide open 3. Telfair loses the ball going to the basket and Sixers inbound. Celtics with pressure in the back court. Iguodala travels as he is surrounded by what looks like munchkins in the lane (West, Ray and Telfair). Gomes is fouled as he gets Carney fo fall for the fake. he hits both FTs. offensive foul on Iguodala as Powe takes the charge. Al comes in for Powe. Gomes misses a jumper and rebound goes out of bounds to Philly. Iguodala has it stripped but gets it back. Sixers turn it over. West takes it to the hoop for a layup. Korver hits a 3 off the catch. Al with a nice fake and he lays it in. Smith misses and Dalembert rebounds. Korver is fouled by Ray as Korver beats him to the basket. Korver hits both FTs. Philly up by 3. Al misses a hook shot and Dalembert rebounds. Iguodala gets the ball inside and dunks it with authority. Time out with Sixers up 80-75 and 3:56 left in the 4th

Celtics inbound and Rondo brings it up. Al misses a layup and Dalembert rebounds. Starters are on the floor for the Celtics. Dalembert travels. Sixers pick off Rondo's pass and Green called for a clear path foul. Iguodala hits both FTs. Sixers inbound on the side. Korver misses a jumper and Rondo throws the ball off Korver as it was going out of bounds. Al misses everything and Celtics with a 24 second violation. rondo called for a foul on Miller. He rims out the first. hits the second. Rondo drives to the basket and draws a foul on Dalembert. He hits both FTs. Smith lays it in. Time out with Phillly up 85-77 and 2:05 left in the 4th

Green misses a 3 and Al rebounds. Green is fouled by Smith as he takes it to the basket. He misses the first hits the second. Iguodala throws it up for Dalembert who tips it in. Time out with Sixers up 87-78 and 1:33 left in the 4th

Celtics inbound on the side. Green is fouled shooting a 3 but he is given only 2 FTs. He hits the first. Gomes comes in for Al. he hits the second. Telfair is in for Perk. Miller misses a 3 and West rebounds. West takes it to the hoop for a layup. Philly is running down the clock. Carney misses a layup. gomes rebounds. Rondo misses a 3 and Philly rebounds and Iguodala is fouled by Telfair. he front rims the first. hits the second. Time out with Sixers up 88-82 and 15.5 left in the 4th.

Rondo gets it in to West. he misses a jumper. there is a fight for the rebound. West comes away with it and gets it to Gomes who misses a jumper and Sixers rebound. Final score is Philadelphia 88 and Boston 82 A hard fought loss.

Nice comeback attempt. We missed Pierce tonight--if he played, this game would have been ours.

Yeah it's probably good that Pierce sits out the rest of the way at this point. He made his statement during the Orlando game and that was a good place to end it for the year.
