I happend to like Donovan. A non-nonsense coach, that literally resurrected the U of F team.

How do you think this team will react to a totally new coach/coaching staff/offensive and defensive system when 90% of the guys on the team have only played for Doc Rivers since joining the NBA?

Glad 2hear u like Donavan RR ;D ;D. DMatt I think the team will re-act like PROS should. They realize this is a business and that the organization(mgmt) makes decisions as to what they think is best 4this team. They've already seen players come and go so they should play like they've always do whenever the players change. Im SURE none of these players thought that they'd play 4just 1coach over their careers. The last thing Im concerned w/is that the team'll be devastated over Docs departure.

Well, seems like Donovan may be headed to Kentucky. KU is set to offer him a 7 year deal.
MeanGreen, has there been any kind of interest from Ainge about Billy Donovan that you know of?

No DMatts, Ive heard nothin from Ainge 'bout Donavan and I don't know if that's a good sign or a bad1. DA has never been1 2show his hand @just 'bout anythin he's plannin. This KU job if ify I hear. I hear that Donavan's willin 2listen 2what they have 2say, but many believe pundints, experts, etc that he won't take the job @ku. Though they say he's probably got the itch 2go somewhere just not KU. I tell u what, Id like 2hear what 1of the local boston sports talk radio stations think 'bout Donavan comin here, or that celticslive crew.

I agree with frsh about moving PP to see if we could get something along the lines of setting up a frontcourt of Al, Durant, and Noah

I guess Donovan is staying at Florida. Read it on Yahoo. But his 4 juniors are going to test the NBA waters (Noah, Horford, Brewer, Greene). Donovan will have to start from scratch because he's going to have a totally new starting lineup.

He did manage to recruit a McDonald's all-American. Even Humphries and Richards don't come back. One would assume he must've gotten a decent recruit or two last year as well

Donavan turns dwn the KU job and I read on realgm.com that memphis is interesed in Donavan. Has any1 heard Donavan's name mentioned on any of the sports talk stations in Bos? This is the time 2strike when the iron is hot and we can get our interest know in him b4 he signs and extension w/Fla. Yeah he's turned dwn KU, but he's not been offered any pro job yet and like I said b4 we'd do ourselves a diservice not 2inquire.
