All this losing the Celtics have done this year has given me poor energy and slowed me down. All there really is to do is to await the results of the May 22, 2007 lottery in Secaucus.
The Celtics games between now and then have lost their meaning since Doc Rivers has resorted to remedial coaching, as witnessed by his decision to leave Allen Ray, Bassy, Powe, Gomes, and Gerald Green out there in the 4th qtr to drown against Charlotte. Most other teams are playing for an opportunity to make the playoffs. Even Charlotte, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and especially Philadelphia are striving to improve. The Celtics are going through the motions, Pierce and Doc have gone public with their disagreement over whether Pierce should shut it down. It appears that either Doc or Paul will not be here next season.
I am very disappointed in the effort the Celtics are putting out since beating San Antonio. Perhaps they have simply been overwhelmed by injuries, bad luck, poor coaching, poor conditioning, and frankly poor talent.
Failing to get the 1st or 2nd pick or on the remote chance Durant and Oden hit the books for another year, the Celtics will have to rely on Jefferson, Perkins, Wally, Paul, West, TA, GG, Gomes, draft pick, Powe, and Rondo to carry the load next year. I have little reason to believe the same team, even with a new coach makes the playoffs in 2008. That is why I have poor energy.

All I have to say is that the names Oden, or Durant w/ the pick of the Celtics will provide more energy. ;D

Bill Simmons said he would move back to the east coast if the Celtics selected Durant.

The Celtics are going to be an exciting team next season. I have a feeling that our luck is changing finally. Just hang in there a little longer Q.

With a healthy lineup next season, I don't see how we cannot be exciting and productive.
20+ ppg scorers: Pierce and Jefferson
High teens scorers: Wally, Tony and Gerald
Productive role players: Rajon, Gomes, Delonte, Perk, Powe, Ray, Telfair
And if we get a big time player in the draft, we are hands down the deepest team in the East. Plus, with our young roster, we have the best chance to be a perennial powerhouse long after the Nets, the Heat and the Pistons are done.
This season, we hit rock bottom with the deaths of Red and DJ and with all the injuries we've had. This is us at the bottom of the pit. The only way to go from here is up, and we're going to reach the top in a hurry.

No matter what happens in the draft, I'd like to see us package some kids for a vet PG (paging Mr. Bibby).

I like how Perkins and Jefferson are forming an internal defensive battery. Perkins work on Bosh last night was a hi-light in the season for me.
