I love the chemistry between Perk and Al. They were interviewing Perk as player of the game (12 points, 12 rebounds, 1 block) and Al came up and Dickerson said do you want talk about Perk now because you get enough camera time and Al said that Perk did so well cause he played next to him. He said that he told Perk he would block out and for Perk to grab the rebounds and they were joking and laughing. They get along great and the chemistry shows on the court. I still say let Perk get healthy and he is going to be a very good center. He is going to surprise people next season just as Al did this season.
Rondo had a double double also with 13 points and 10 assists. I love the back court with West at the 2 and Rondo at the point.

Nice win over a team that is not playing well and frankly they have chemistry issues. They got by with Joe Johnson for a while and now they are falling apart. I got to be honest here and admit to only tuning in for half the game. The referees were helping out the Hawks as much as possible but Rondo and Perkins would not be denied tonight. And then FL's boy Powe took over the 4th qtr. Doc played the backups once Boston got their 20 plus lead on the Hawks.
Good send off win as the Celtics fly straight South of me on I-35. They realistically only have one chance at a victory and that is Monday night in Oklahoma.

Although Atlanta had won every game without Joe Johnson until tonight, so they were actually playing better basketball as of late.
FlCeltsFan, I agree about Perkins and Jefferson. Like you, I've been waiting for the day when they would spend significant minutes together on the court, and with Perkins playing better as of late (can't wait until his foot is 100%) they make quite a combo. We'll finally have a strong team in the paint if they can both stay healthy!!
Nice to see Rondo do well. It allows us to have two good passers in the backcourt.

I like this starting lineup. Perk and Al are playing very well off each other. They have great chemistry and they are finally getting minutes together to build on it. West and Rondo seem to play well off each other as well. I like having the 2 defensive play makers in the back court. West can hit the shots and Rondo can find him. Also Rondo is proving that he can score enough to keep defenses honest.
I also really like Powe. This kid is so tough and works so hard. He gives us toughness in the middle when Perk and Al go out.
