at Boston Celtics (18-44) at Chicago Bulls (37-28) Tuesday, March 13, 2007 • 8:30 PM ET Regular Season Game #63 • Away Game #32United Center, - Chicago, Illinois Probable StartersPoint Guard VS Rajon Rondo #9 PPG 5.3 RPG 3.10 APG 3.1 Kirk Hinrich #12 PPG 16.0 RPG 3.40 APG 6.1 Shooting Guard VS Gerald Green #5 PPG 9.5 RPG 2.50 APG 1.0 Ben Gordon #7 PPG 21.5 RPG 3.20 APG 3.6 Small Forward VS Paul Pierce #34 PPG 25.2 RPG 6.40 APG 4.0 Luol Deng #9 PPG 18.7 RPG 7.10 APG 2.2 Power Forward VS Al Jefferson #7 PPG 15.0 RPG 11.20 APG 1.2 PJ Brown #42 PPG 5.8 RPG 4.80 APG 0.5 Center VS Kendrick Perkins#43 PPG 4.0 RPG 4.40 APG 1.2 Ben Wallace #3 PPG 6.1 RPG 10.40 APG 2.2 Off the BenchScalabrine/Ray/Powe/West/TelfairInjuries Szczerbiak Ankle out Allen Knee out Ratliff Back out Gomes foot day to day West concussion day to day Notes West declared himself ready to go on Sunday but the doctors wanted to be cautious and didn't clear him. I expect him to play in this game. It is hard to tell what Doc will do. Rondo should remain as the starting PG to reward him for his play in the past 2 games. West would be best used starting at the 2 guard but then, Doc may bring him off the bench at the point or knowing Doc, he may start him at the point, which would be a mistake considering how well Rondo has been playing. Off the BenchDuhon/Griffin/Thomas/Sefolosha/KhryapaInjuries Allen - irregular heart beat day-to-day Andriuskevicius - Concussion out rest of season Andres Nocioni - Plantar fasciaitis out indefinitely Notes: The Bulls are a good defensive team and we had a hard time offensively against them. We will have to play a lot better if we want to win one in Chicago. Deng in particular gave Pierce a very hard time and is one player I wouldn't mind bringing to Boston. Keys to the Game Move the Ball on Offense Part of our offensive problems stemmed from the fact that we didn't have good ball movement and players were holding the ball too long or trying to do too much individually. We need to move the ball, find the open man, and hit our shots. Defense The Bulls shot over 50% in Boston. We have to do a better job of getting stops and defending the basket. It is obvious we can't outscore them, so we have to do better on defense and keep them away from the basket. Rebounding They beat us on the boards in Boston. We have to be more aggressive and win the rebounding war if we want to get a win. Al was held to only 6 rebounds and we need him to be more aggressive on the glass. Limit turnovers We had 17 turnovers against the Bulls in Boston and we need to take better care of the ball. Interesting FactThe Bulls will be wearing green uniforms for this game in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

Perhaps the Bulls wearing the Green unis will be their undoing tomorrow night. Other than that I can't think of any reason the Celtics would win the game tomorrow night. We are a still a long way from competing with the big boys in this league. In other news, I cannot believe I am hearing from JB and Jughead that DOC might be back coaching this team next year. I think Doc will resign from frustration over not being offered an extension this summer.

They are discussing Doc on the pre-game show because Bulpett has hinted that he might not be back. Donny Marshall said he should be back because he really cares and coaches hard. Rusillo said that it should depend on what the team looks like next year and he thinks he did a better job than he is given credit for.
On NBA TV earlier they were discussing the most improved player and Al Jefferson wasn't even mentioned and that is a shame because he truly is one of the most improved players in the league this season.
Chicago is wearing green uniforms and Celtics are in white. That is different.
West said they are working now on getting ready for next season and everything they are doing now is building for next season. They are stressing defense now in practice. Delonte said that he isn't happy with his progress and that he is his own worst critic and feels he can always get better. Mike said he was happy that Delonte is 100% and Delonte said he is 110%.
We have the Chicago feed tonight. UGH! I hate having to listen to the other team's announcers.

I really wish they would give you the choice of which feed you want like they do on audio league pass.
Even the Chicago feed has that Rondo commercial.... Experience Giddyupidness... experience Rondoism... I love that Commercial.
Rondo and West are both starting tonight to match up with Hinrich and Gordon. Pierce moves to small forward and Perk and Al start up front.

This is weird seeing the Bulls in Celtics green uniforms. That Luol Deng kid. When did we get him? he's pretty damn good.

Rondo at the line. He misses the first and hits the second FT. Celtics with some pressure in the back court. Lob for Wallace was too strong but he got it back and gets it inside to Thomas who lays it in and is fouled. He misses the FT and Scal rebounds. Al is fouled as he misses a hook shot in the lane. He misses both FTs and Bulls rebound. Hinrich hits a fade away jumper. PP hits a step back jumper from the top of the key. Duhon misses a hook shot and Thomas goes out of bounds trying to save it. Time out with 2:57 left in the first and Bulls up 22-19. These green uniforms on the Bulls is really messing with my head. They should have worn them against a team that doesn't ordinarily wear green. This just isn't right.

The Bulls green unis are the single most annoying thing I ever saw in a game. I'm like "When did we trade for Eric Williams? What year is it? Oh that's Loul Deng? Hey who's that new guy? Oh it's Tyrus Thomas. Who the heck is that? Oh Ben Wallace" Don't the Bulls usually beat us by enough that they don't need our players passing to the wrong guy? I mean it'd be like if we wore gold on the Lakers' court
