Very disappointing effort overall last night with the exception of the 2nd qtr run where the Celtics took a brief 34-31 lead on the strength of our bench last night. Pierce and Jefferson gave us nothing. 4th qtr sucked. The Bulls simply have our number and that is that.

I thought the small ball was the only thing working last night. Jefferson didn't get many touches and not many minutes either. But he also wasn't playing with a high amount of energy either.
Pierce forced the issue the whole game. He was forcing shots and was trying to be the playmaker, taking the ball out of Rondo's hands on a few fastbreaks. He's not fitting in right now.
Defensively, I thought our energy was much better and for spurts, we seemed to do well. We were rotating well and we forced them to move the ball around a lot. But unless we do this for longer periods of time, we will still be considered a poor defensive team.
