Chicago Bulls (36-28) at Boston Celtics (18-43)

PG: Rajon Rondo #9 PPG 5.3 RPG 3.10 APG 3.1 EFF + 7.58

PF: Al Jefferson #7 PPG 15.0 RPG 11.20 APG 1.2 EFF + 19.83
SF: Paul Pierce #34 PPG 25.2 RPG 6.40 APG 4.0 EFF + 21.33
C: Kendrick Perkins #43 PPG 4.0 RPG 4.40 APG 1.2 EFF + 7.40
Off the Bench
Brian Scalabrine #44 PPG 4.1 RPG 2.00 APG 1.1 EFF + 4.86
Allan Ray #12 PPG 4.9 RPG 1.10 APG 0.5 EFF + 2.85
Leon Powe #0 PPG 2.9 RPG 2.80 APG 0.1 EFF + 4.10
Sebastian Telfair #30 PPG 6.9 RPG 1.40 APG 3.1 EFF + 6.60
Injuries
Szczerbiak Ankle out
Allen Knee out
Ratliff Back out
Gomes foot day to day
West concussion day to day
Notes Doc sounded as if West and Gomes would be out for this game. West was going to try to practice today but was still having headaches as of last night. If it is at all possible for West to play, I am sure he will. But it would be better to give Rondo and Telfair another chance to see what they can do. I would love to see Rondo continue to start at the point and West start at the 2 guard. The Starting Lineup could change as Doc may put Scal back in at SF and West may come back to play this game.
PG: Kirk Hinrich #12 PPG 16.0 RPG 3.40 APG 6.1 EFF + 16.97
SG: Ben Gordon #7 PPG 21.5 RPG 3.20 APG 3.6 EFF + 16.72
PF: PJ Brown #42 PPG 5.8 RPG 4.80 APG 0.5 EFF + 7.31
SF: Luol Deng #9 PPG 18.7 RPG 7.10 APG 2.2 EFF + 19.98
C: Ben Wallace #3 PPG 6.1 RPG 10.40 APG 2.2 EFF + 16.02
Off the Bench
Chris Duhon #21 PPG 7.5 RPG 2.30 APG 4.4 EFF + 9.75
Adrian Griffin #44 PPG 2.5 RPG 1.90 APG 1.1 EFF + 4.28
Tyrus Thomas #24 PPG 4.2 RPG 3.10 APG 0.4 EFF + 5.55
Thabo Sefolosha #2 PPG 3.4 RPG 1.90 APG 0.9 EFF + 3.75
Injuries
Nociani - plantar fasciitis questionable
Allen - irregular heartbeat questionable
Notes: The Bulls have been playing very well. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games but are only 12-20 on the road for the year.
Key Matchup
vs
Both players are known as big time players in the 4th quarter. Should be an interesting matchup.
Keys to the Game
Big Al Big Al has been the go to guy and unstoppable in in the paint. He needs to continue his strong play off the bench for this team to continue to play well.
Defense This team has proved that they can play the type of defense that wins games. The only problem is that they don't play it all the time. They need to put that type of effort out all the time on Defense and they will move to the next level.
Ball movement We had 25 assists on 45 baskets last night (mostly in the second half). When we move the ball and find the open man, we are competitive. When the players stand around and hold the ball and try to do too much individually, we lose badly (See Rockets' game).
Rebound We have to win the war on the glass. When we are aggressive on the boards and win the rebounding war, we have a chance to win every game. When we slack off on the boards, we get beat.
