I hope Doc has enough common sense to give more minutes to the young guys instead of PP after this.

This is the right move for Wally. We aren't going anywhere this season, so use it to recover and get into the best shape of his career. I'd like to see him lighter next year so that he can move faster and get into the open court more.

Wally is too heavy. Less time in the weight room, and more time on the tredmill.

Yeah, I think this will be good for him. He needs to get more lift on his shot, and even with healthy ankles, he still wasn't getting up high. Losing about 10 lbs should do the trick. Less wear and tear on his knees and ankles and his lighter weight will keep his legs fresher towards the end of the season.
Lot of people have given up on Wally, but I still believe that he can be a huge weapon for us. As we have been seeing lately, when Jefferson and Pierce are lighting it up, there's a lot of opportunities for our other role players to knock down open jumpers. And more than any of his other strengths, Wally's shooting is his best aspect and we need to utilize it to the fullest.

I like Wally alot, though I have not been too impressed since he has arrived in Boston. He needs to rekindle the long-range barrage we are use too. Also, I think since we have a low-post scorer now (Jefferson), his role will seem even larger.

A healthy Wally would be good as 6th man. He could come off the bench as a Vinnie Johnson type microwave player to give our second unit some fire power.

Yep, I think he can add juice to our bench. You can never have enough quality shooters on the team, especially off the bench, and I'm waiting for him and Allan Ray to be contributing forces.
