Rondo deserves to start right now. He's been a sparkplug defensively and his defense fuels his offense. I'm a proponent of PG's who can score to keep defenses off balance, and right now, he's the PG who doing something offensively (I'm not counting Delonte because the PG spot is not where he should be playing).
Telfair is in a rut and until he straighten things out (which I know he will), Rajon should be getting the nod.
If Rajon ever finds himself a steady jumpshot, not only will he win the PG battle outright, but he will also be an All-Star.

I would be content in Rondo getting steady minutes. Doc and his rotations still irk me.

I just got out a bit of a rant on this over on Loy's Place... I have been totally frustrated with Doc's rotations lately and with the way he is destroying the confidence in these young players.

If Rondo starts, is going to take a few games before Doc realize telfair and west aren't getting the job done at PG. In fact, i wouldn't be surprise if he doesnt make a move until Telfair gets hurt as well.

Doc is awfully tough on his PG's, and we see arlready that Rajon and Telfair are in his doghouse. Rajon was barely getting any playing minutes, aside from last night's game, and Telfair was demoted to backup duties, in favor of the guy with the least amount of PG skills.
All Doc really wants is a PG who will not turn the ball over, who will give the ball over to Pierce and Wally, and who will hit open jumpers when the ball is kicked out to him. Well, in that case, get rid of Telfair and Rondo because he is just wasting away their skills and instead, see if Steve Kerr is willing to come out of retirement to play for us. We play such a slow brand of basktball that it won't matter that he can't run anymore.

An article some days back quoted PP about how well he thought Telfair was doing in terms of running the offense. He wasn't getting big numbers of points or assists, but that was during the winning streak. One night he only had a handful of assists, but the team had 33.
While DA has been verhy supportive of Doc, I think it is clear that DA wants an up-tempo team. I view West as the least likely PG to produce such. I think he can be a quality backup at either the 1 or 2. I could envision Rondo coming off the bench and actually putting up better numbers than ST and ST still be the better starting PG. Putting Rondo in motion against the other team's backup and wiith the Boston bench (which should defer to him on offense in allowing him to drive).
I am bothered by West's constant injuries. I know the line that he gets them by going all out. Maybe so. But he still keeps getting hurt with regularity. Don't think he will ever stayin a flow.

I thought Doc was a PG when he played? Regardless, PG is probably the toughest position to transition from college to the pros. And, today's players only get a limited exposure in college, or none in Teltfair's case.
