It seems as if the infamous "core" is always changing.
After the injuries to some of our starters, and the recent surprising play from some of our young guys, has the core changed for anybody or is the core the same?
I think TA (depending on the outcome of his court case) might have crept up into my idea of the "core"
Excluding Pierce, this is my existing core...... ;D
Al Jefferson (skyrocketed to number 1 of the core)
Gerald Green (number 2 of the core)
Tony Allen (Made his way into the core at number 3)
Gomes (Because of Al he has dropped down, though he is still part of the core, as a super-sub bench player though I feel)
Perk (still part of the core but needs to stay healthy)
On the bubble:
Delonte West
Too inconsistent. Part of that is that Doc can't figure what position to play him at and keeps switching him back and forth. Will the real Delonte West please stand up?
Telfair
I would still like to see him be our future point guard but need to see some more aggression out of him on O and on D. He really needs to take control of the team as a point guard I really don't feel that he has done that as of yet. He is still young though.
Out of the core:
Wally
I believe he is just paving the way for the youngsters until they are ready.....which is now Doc!
Rondo
He has regressed since preseason. I think Doc has killed this dude's confidence. Would LOVE him to be in the core, but everyone can't be in it..... ;D
Powe
I would like him to be in the core also, but because of Doc not playing him still can't put him in that category.
Never had a chance:
Scal (no explanation needed)
Kandi
Allan Ray
Theo
I might have forgot someone.......
