Ok so I was thinking of a poll, but this question doesn't work as a poll. My point is this. In theory the 5 best players start. The next best come off the bench. So who are the five best players?
I say curreently they are
AL J Gomes Rondo GG Wally
6th man is TA 7th man is PP 8th is a toss up between Powe, West, and Bassy Perk is backup center.
What you say? So in a way I am sort of saying rank them, but I'm sort of not.

If we are talking about right now--up to the minute--here's what I'd say:
Jefferson Powe Gerald Tony Rajon
I may want to take Tony out and put in Allan Ray because Ray is a much better shooter who also is a threat on the breaks. But until Ray shows me more consistency, Tony stays. Plus Tony is a defensive player. But with Rajon starting in place of Telfair, he and Tony will kill our perimeter game so that's why I'd neutralize that with Allan Ray playing next to Rajon.
I'm still high on Telfair, but something is not right at this moment, and until something is straightened out, I'm more than happy to roll the dice with Rajon. BUT Doc has to have the team RUN, with Rajon leading the pack.

No lineups, but the 5 best players:
1 - Pierce 2 - Big Al 3 - Wally 4 - Gomes 5 - TA
Those are the 5 best players IMO. Green could make the list too. Perk would be top 7 or 8. Telfair would be top 10.

The 5 best players?
1. Pierce 2. Jefferson 3. Wally 4. TA 5. Gomes
I'd even put Delonte on that list right with TA and Gomes. Green is right there as well, but his inexperience is still a defactor. I still think Delonte is our best pg even over Telfair and Rondo. Yes he has limitations but he is probably the most well rounded player we have at that position right now. My opinions on guys change daily though. That's just how this team is right now. Telfair, Powe, Perkins, Rondo, Scal are probably the only other players worth mentioning right now. Allan Ray is still too inexperienced imo.
If I were going to go with a starting 5 that gives us the best chance to win, I'd go with Delonte, Allen or Wally, Pierce, Gomes, and Jefferson. I might even go small ball, with Delonte, Allen, Wally, Pierce, and Jefferson if I'm considering putting the best players on the court. Or even TA, Wally, Pierce, Gomes, Jefferson.

Sorry folks. I was thinking about the future starting 5 and who I think will be our 5 best lineup to put out there.
Yes, the 5 best players on the team right now are the ones you guys mentioned: Pierce, Jefferson, Wally, Gomes and Allen.
