at Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics Friday, December 22 8:00 pm TV: FSN Radio: WRKO TDBanknorth Garden Probable Starters CelticsPG: Telfair SG: Allen SF: Green PF: Gomes C: Jefferson SixersPG: Ollie SG: Green SF: Iguodala PF: Henderson C: Dalembert Key Matchup vs Pierce will be out for the next 2-3 weeks and Green should get the start in his place. Last year injuries brought us a break out by Gomes and hopefully this year they will bring us a break out by Green. The Sixers seem to be in full tank mode going for the top prize in the Oden sweepstakes. They have lost 12 in a row. They may try to win one every once in a while to make it look like they are still trying but hopefully it won't be this one. The key to a Celtics win will be defense and teamwork. They no longer have Pierce to turn to, and so they will need to work together and depend on and trust each other. We need to take care of the ball and play defense. Who knows, they may even play better when they have to do it themselves and not depend on Pierce. Note: This game was originally scheduled for ESPN. When Iverson was suspended, they removed it from the schedule. As far as I know it will only be on FSN and not on League Pass.

I checked League Pass and they are currently scheduling the game. They didn't have it last week, so they must have just put it in after ESPN cancelled it.

Q at the 5:15 mark 1st qtr - Sam Dalembert is having a career day against Al Jefferson. We cannot compete with their size it seems. So far it is a balanced approach to the scoring load.

Q at the qtr - the turnover bug is biting us. Terrible plays by Telfair, Tony Allen, and Al Jefferson cost us scoring opportunities. And on that last possestion - Allan Ray needed to jack it. We have to smarten up because we are coming up short on matchups.

Good god!!!!
This is pitiful. Hunter and Dalembert look like all world players out there over our dimunitive line-up. The rest of the league is going inside on us until we stop it.

Delonte West is playing much smaller this year. What is going on with him?
I like what Green and Jefferson are bringing to the table. I guess our five best players are Bassy, TA, Gomes, Green and Jefferson. The bench of Powe, Allan Ray, Rondo, and West is weak.
Basically, the team is overwhelmed at this point.

WOAH!!!! That was some good playing by Jefferson, West and Gerald Green. There is hope. Remember this team playing tonight is 100% Ainge draftees. Coach Doc has it relatively easy.
