Shame on me i fell asleep after the 3rd quarter, but from what i saw earlier, we really missed perk, kandi, and ratliff. We had no size. The warriors were getting to many second shots. We had like 7 turnovers i nthe first quarter, unforced errors again. I'm with derren west isn't a point guard. Rondo needs to be in when telfair is resting.

It may have just been this game, but it seemed that Gomes wasn't playing with the same type of hustling energy, especially on the boards, that Scal had displayed recently. We didn't seem to miss Perk, Kandi or Theo when Gomes was out the past couple of games.

I think you are right Derren. Gomes had only 2 rebounds and that is below normal for him. I wonder if maybe his calf was still bothering him or maybe his timing is off. Scal has been providing a lot of hustle and energy. I like what Powe does when he is in also but he needs more regular minutes. 3 minutes here and 4 minutes there just isn't enough to get anything going.

Yeah, it could be that Gomes doesn't have his normal lift in his legs because of his bruised calf.
Powe needs to be given regular and consistent minutes. He needs to be incorporated in the offensive plans because he's definitely capable of putting up points. He's good at drawing contact and getting to the line.
To be honest, Powe is displaying more offensive maturity than Jefferson did as a rookie in the NBA. He's only a year older than Jefferson, but has 2 years of college experience under his belt. He's a guy who will give us offense from the PF spot whether he starts or comes off the bench.
