Rats, as soon as I say that, Telfaiir misses both free throw attempts!! I hope he redeemds himself somehow for those misses.
The Boston Celtics is not a just team of basketball players, but is a world wide family of individuals who bleed green and follow the team through thick and thin. No such thing as fair weather Celtics fans.

Denver inbounds on the side. Telfair covering the inbound pass. There is a delay for some reason. They are going to put more time on the clock and there will be 9.1 minutes on the clock. Smith misses a 3. Anthony misses a tip and misses another and tips it in. Celtics inound to PP and he dribbles and time expires and then the refs say there was a foul. They are putting nine tenths of a second on the clock. PP at the line. PP hits both FTs. Najera heaves the ball to Melo on the arc whose 3 at the buzzer rattles in and out.
Tony played all 48 minutes and had a career night. This team showed a lot of character hanging on to win against a quality team. 4 Game Win Streak!!!!!
Amazing box. Allen with 48 minutes. AJ with 40 plus, and only 4 fouls. Cs with 33 assists. Out rebounded Denver. Telfair has a way of putting up a few points at the end of the game, some with FTs, which he missed on tonight.
Given Scal's limited minutes tonight, and without Gomes, I have a hard time envisioning the lineup which was on the floor for mosst of the game.
Important thing is that the team showed some thing or other which enabled them to hold on at the end.
I have thought that one of the great weaknesses of the team---or Doc's as a coach---was a tendency to lose games at th e end. They held on to win a game which PP saved with a jumper.
Looked like a lot of AJs points were close in---"layups"
