Supposedly there is a deal on the table AI for Baron. This is the player I would be interested in. He's a true pg, he's friends with Paul, he's a lot younger. If we could somehow swing Telfair, Gomes and west to Philly, AI to GS and Baron to the C's that would be good.

I've been a distant fan of Baron Davis since his UCLA days. He's one of the most creative players around and just fun to watch. He's certainly not my ideal PG because he chucks so many three's--I like him for the entertainment value.
I often wondered about sending Pierce over to Golden State to re-unite him with Davis there, and get back Monta Ellis in return.

Baron Davis has had health issues in the past. I'm not that crazy about acquiring Baron Davis in the coming AI megaswap.

No to Baron davis.
I rather stick with the kids. I feel rondo and Telfiar are better for the team than Baron.

I myself was never a big fan of Baron Davis. I like pgs that can score, but not so much scoring pgs. I also never thought he looked that in shape, and I think he's had some injury and attitude issues.

His injuries and his conditioning (or lack thereof) scare me. No to BD.

That's a good way to put it, Eja.
Well, we know that Ainge made an attempt to get him not long ago, so there's an obvious interest there. If there's one characteristic Ainge gravitates toward, its scoring. But its not good when the scoring comes at the expense of team scoring and that may have been an issue with Baron. Hard to see, really. Same with Iverson. Maybe playing with a big scorer like Pierce will allow them to tone down their own scoring.

All valid points guys. I do agree, but you can't discount Baron's creativity. The guy simply just knows how to run a team and can control the game in the palm of his hands when he wants to at times.
The guy's made of tin, but if he ever averaged around 75 games a season, he would be put up there in the top 5 for best point guards in the league right now every year hands down......

I don't question his talent. I don't like watching BD shooting up 10 threes a game where he only hits 1 one of them. He's the Antoine Walker PG version except he can shoot better than AW.
