Gerald Green strong calling card type dunk off a Scallop feed. Wally Z schooled his guy....
Time out for Philly and Pierce and Jefferson are coming back in. Perhaps we can assert control by the half.

Al already with 8 boards and there's still 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. He's doing a good job of staying on the court and not picking up dumb fouls.

Credit Philly for playing hard in all their games. I know the last two games have come down to the last possestion. I doubt they are in any rush to make a deal. I think we could use Chris Webber - I'll explain later.

Q at the half - Celtics get a two point lead.
Disagree with Tanguay about Philly not keeping up their energy level... Philly and the Celtics are both stepping up their energy level and the result is a very competitive basketball game. Not beautiful but it is good productive basketball overall. Celtics continue to build their chemistry through passing and sharing. Some shots should have been taken.
My boy Tony Allen has come to play driving agressively to the basket and defending well. Gomes has to score repeatedly against Webber. Al Jefferson is turning into quite a defender and I am looking forward to a future defensive battery with Perkins. Come on Perk, get your foot better buddy.

See you play good fundamental basketball like the Celtics played in the last three minutes, you open up nice leads. Good sharp passing by the Celtics has resulted in easy baskets, and they are working hard at the back end as well. I would not trade Tony Allen for the Question Mark straight up. Pierce maybe but not Tony Allen

We'd be almost dangerous if we hit the FT's.

Q at the turn - Nice 3rd qtr as we have the situation under control. The challenge, obviously, is to keep the energy level up (maintain the focus) and play smart ball. There is no reason to lose this game tonight.

Man - I think Old Arnie is reaching into his coat pocket for you know what!
C's have broken this one open as sadly, there is no life in Philadelphia.
