Should we go back after him. We could probably get him on the cheap, since the sixers will be dealing from a position of weakness.

don't want Iverson. Yes he can play ball, but I believe he would be more disruptive than beneficial.
Add to that the fact that he is sitting out with back spasms. We don't need another player with back problems.
Do we really want a guy with this kind of attitude on the team? We got rid of one in Blount and bringing in Iverson would lead to more problems than is solves. What would lead us to believe that he would be any happier in Boston than he is in Philly? I don't want him here.

At one point, I was alright with Iverson coming here. But now, I wouldn't want to pair him with Pierce because we'd be going further away from our youth development. Iverson is getting old, and as FL mentioned, he's injured and we don't need a 30 yr old with a back injury.

Let Cryverson go to the Bricks. He would fit right in with Stiffbury and Stiff Francis.

Good one Q! Karma for you! Thanks for the chuckle... He would indeed fit right in there...
Rumors are already popping up that he may be headed to Minnesota.

AI has been a perrenial loser. Not only in basketball, but in life.

The last person we need to pair with Pierce is Iverson, unless they changed the rules to allow two basketballs at the same time. It would be back to the old days, with 3 players standing and watching Pierce and now Iverson do everything on offense. No thanks.

From what i've been reading, Celtics are resuming talks about bringing iverson to Boston. I don't think its the worst idea in the world because Ainge needs to find a direction for this team. Either build around pierce or go youth
Hopefully this isn't a desperation move or we might be waiting another 3 years to start rebuilding again.

30 year old back problems settles it in my mind. If he didn't have back problems and was a good teammate they'd never consider trading him. A leader would go to the office a beg for a trade to bring someone in, not try to hitch on some other guy's wagon like Garnett. Who'd have to be traded for him? I suppose Wally, Ratliff, and they'd want some young guys. Actually. If I could give up youth I don't want, and that I might as well do it. I mean what if money purposes and all it was something like Wally, Ratliff, Scala, TA, and Bassy for AI and Shavlik Randolph? Not the end of the world at all. We just wouldn't be a much better team at all.

I don't think his injured back has anything to do with it. It's the fact Billy King did absolutely nothing to improve the sixers this offseason. They have no future other than AI2 and maybe Carney. Other than that, you're looking at a bottum dweller team for many years to come especially with the money they've been throwing around lately.
idk. AI might have a new attitude coming here playing along side Pierce. I'm not going to be one of those "Don't trade AI here because he isn't a team player" because looking at our team right the chemistry still isn't there. Adding a MVP canadiate to this roster could ultimately change the whole complexion how teams have to defend against us. The only bad part about AI is, Telfair/Rondo/ probably West will lose all their minutes to him.
The question is How much are we going to give up for him? I know we're the team who has the most interest in him but, we're also a division rival so our bid has to be kind of high. now if we get AI, we can kiss the whole getting Greg Oden in the lottery dream good bye unless this team keeps losing.

I would not offer a lot for Iverson. In fact I'm not sure I want the Question Mark on my team. My guess is that he goes to Indiana for crappy players like Tinsley and Stephon Jackson.
Philadelphia is screwed.
