It's time to
-go to the well with Jefferson in the post and use Gerald's offensive potential and let them be the scoring duo
-let Telfair and Rajon run the offense
-trade Pierce
-get a coach who knows how to use players and when to use them
-aim for a high draft pick in a draft top heavy with talent

I think we should refer to all celtic issues as a case of TPFD(Trade Pierce, Fire Doc), just to simplify things from here on out. IE when the Celtics lose, we should just say this is a simple case of TPFD, instead of rehashing this thought over and over.

TFPD it is ;D
So how soon can we expect Ainge to make TFPD happen? IMO, the sooner we can jump into the total youth movement, the better.

Well it depends on what we can get for Paul Pierce. It would be nice if we could get a Boozer and a Deron williams for Pierce, Telfair, but Utah would never do that, but that's the kind of trade I would be looking for. I would be trying to trade guys like Pierce, Telfair, West, GOmes. Allen for a pg, pf swap though, maybe a defensive minded 3. That Billups, Prince trade scenario is still intriguing.

The problem w/ that Pistons trade is that Billups is a FA after this year.

If allowed to work the pick and rolls like Deron Williams, Telfair will also have success. Sebastian has been improving a little game by game and he's starting to assert himself a little more, game by game, but no one has been shouting his praises yet. He has not arrived yet. He has to be allowed to run the team in order for us to see how good he really is.
Jefferson may be able to put up Boozer-like numbers as well. If we use our players properly, we'll have our own Deron-Boozer combination with Telfair and Jefferson.

Derren you hit the nail on the head with this. I don't believe that Doc is using our players correctly. In spite of talking about running this year, we aren't doing it. I believe a big part of that is that PP doesn't want to run and hasn't been as effective in the running game becaus he hasn't committed to it. Doc doesn't have a clue what to do with bigs. I was hoping that Clifford Ray would have more input and let our bigs play in the post instead of starting out at the top of the key. One of my biggest fears is that Danny is going to trade several of our most talented players because they haven't played as well as he expects them to. But they aren't improving quick enough because of Doc's game management and failure to use them for their strengths. I am afraid that Danny will trade future all stars and then find out that they become much better than the players we trade them for once they get a coach who knows how to coach and to use his players strengths.

No he doesn't. He's got Jefferson and Gomes playing the high post when their strengths are what they can do when they're near the basket.
And he doesn't use Powe or Rajon nearly enough. These guys make things happen as soon as they step out onto the court, but Doc ignores them.
