Pierce is not playing at a high level right now, and his attitude seems to be heading south very quickly. His body language is terrible and I think the team is feeding off of that because no one else seems to be playing with urgency.
Could Doc, or his relationship with Doc, be the reason for his lackluster play?

Since their poor play and record is the reason, and since Doc is the single biggest reason for that, then yes. It is Doc's fault

WE need a coach with some fire. Every time I listen to him he's way too politically correct, and it's almost like he wants to be fair to everyone and has no forsight. C17 and I were talking this the other night, and it's almost like Doc wants to be fair and give everyone minutes, and let guys show him what they can do before he puts them in better position to do well. He said the other night that Gomes has been doing well and they only have one offensive play for him. Shouldn't they get him more? Isn't it the coaches job to evaluate and know players and put them in position to be successful, instead of evaluating during games and trying to figure out who should be playing. I still think heinsohn should coach this team.

Pierce has his contract. Unfortunately, the NBA is all about the contract year.

Perhaps Danny Boya needs a heart to heart with Paulie and Doc and get them focused on that

In reality - Both probably need to go and we bring in a wirebrusher and a buttonpusher as head coach.
I say trade Pierce the primadonna and FI-RE DOC. Change is good.
