We need Perk to play him tough and keep him out of the paint. Keys to the Game: The Bobcats are 2 and 8 and it would be easy to take them for granted but they have been right in all of their games and have beaten two of the better teams in the league. We need to take this game very seriously or the Bobcats will win. A healthy Perk. We need Perk to play because Charlotte has a big front line and we need Perk to keep Okafor away from the basket. I don't even want to think of Perk not playing. Keep playing defense. It was tough defense that won the last 3 games and we need to keep it up with every player committing to playing tough defense. Take care of the ball. We still turn the ball over too much and need to work on cutting them down. Take the ball to the basket. We have to be more aggressive getting to the basket and not settle for jump shots all night.

Nice comparison feature, FL. Adam vs. Wally and Okafor vs. Perkins is pretty nice. Can we take 2 from the Bobcats in the month of November? I think so. We are playing well now (hopefully Wally, Perk and Delonte are healthy enough to play), both offensively and defensively, and if we are clicking again, like we have been in the past 3 games, we win this one decidedly.
Hopefully Jefferson will get some burn time to get him back into game shape.

i'm always scared of the games we're "supposed" to win. usually we have failed that test.

Well, this will be a good test to see how we've improved in this area. You are right though--we need to have that killer's mentality to go after an opponents' jugular and not play down to the level of our competition.
Last meeting, we needed Delonte hitting a game winner to walk away victorious. This time, our expectations are higher and the ante has been raised.

Charlotte is hungry for a win and I think a key matchup is Brevin Knight against Sebastion Telfair. That could beat us. Okafor is having a terrific year for my fantasy team but Powe and Perkins both can stand up to him, I think. Pierce needs to have a big game against Wallace in order for us to win. West needs to start hitting his shots too.
I think we may be in a bit of trouble here. I won't be able to watch as I will be on the road tonight but I will come back next week.

I will miss your commentary Q... It will be like Gorman without Tommy.... Have a safe trip and a happy Turkey Day!!
Bulpett is reporting that both Al and Perk participated in the shootaround this morning and both are expected to play tonight.
It may take a game or two for Al to get his conditioning and timing back but it is good news that he beat the original timetable by about 4 weeks to return. Also good news that Perk is expected to play. We really need him.

We need to pick up our effort if we want to come back and win this.
