We played a fantastic game on Wednesday night and hopefully the team remembers what it takes to play at that level throughout the entire game. Lets hope we build upon that win and start something from this point on.
Losing to the TrailBlazers would be a disappointment. Not because they aren't good, but because we played so well the other night that losing would bring about a lot of question marks again.

The Trailblazers have improved at each position during the offseason. They don't figure to be a factor in the WC playoff race but are capable of winning 30 games in a balanced league this has become (witness Atlanta winning in Cleveland; Charlotte winning in San Antonio; and the poor starts by Miami, Dallas, Phoenix, and Detriot and the new best NBA team, the Utah Jazz).
So I look for a much tighter contest than Wednesday night. Portland did stay with Cleveland for 3 qtrs before Cleveland kicked out Portland in the 4th. I am cautiously optimistic about tonight.

1 at Sea Win 110-106 3 at GS Loss 89-102 4 vs Min Win 88-86 6 at LAC Loss 89-102 8 vs LAL Win 101-90 10 vs NOK Win 92-91 12 vs Dal Loss 96-103 14 at Min Loss 89-101 15 at Cle Loss 87-100 I guess the best comparison scores are the NOK at home score and @cle. Boston is 0 and 2 and Portland is 1 and 1. However the Celtics form is improving while Portland is pretty much showing all of its capabilities. The physical matchups and experience favors Boston. The coaching edge goes to Portland. I say the Celtics take this game by around 8 points.

The Celtics are playing very good defense but have made some errors on offense and simply has not shot the ball well. Portland seems to want this game a liitle more than Boston at this point.

After a very sloppy start to the 2nd qtr where the C's fell behind by 8, the Celtics kept working hard at the defensive end and became efficient on the offensive head and even got 2 fastbreak opportunities resulting in FT's.
