Williams has his shot blocked by West. PP misses in the lane and Gomes rebounds and lays it in. Rondo called for a foul. okur front rims the first. Tony in for Gomes. Okur hits the second. PP drives the lane and loses it in the lane. Jazz come away with it. Williams steps on Pierce's foot and falls down with it and they call PP for a foul. That is a very bad call. Williams hits both FTs. Time out with Jazz up 104-98 and 28 seconds left in the 4th.

Celtics inbound on the side. PP get it in to Perk. to Rondo. PP misses a 3 and Wally called for a foul over the back of Fisher on the rebound. Fisher hits the first. PP and Wally come out. Fisher hits the second. Rondo quickly brings it up and is fouled by Williams. Rondo hits both FTs. Jazz inbound and Green immediately fouls Williams. he hits 1 of 2 and Perk rebounds the miss. Green misses a jumper. Okur rebounds. Final score Utah 107 and Celtics 100
I have to say the refs were terrible tonight. The Celtics played much better tonight and now if they could just play defense for more than just a few minutes at a time, we might win a few more. Perk played well tonight and that is a plus. Rondo played well also.

Good effort for the C's. Rondo and West as our pg's was a very good tandom. I really want to see more Rondo over Telfair. Gomes played really solid. I did cringe when Doc replaced him in the game for Tony Allen with a minute left for "offensive" purposes. Pierce is an absolute monster. Utah is a very good basketball team. Deron Williams was out of his mind tonight. A few key turnovers and some horrible calls in the final minutes, and we had this game against a very good basketball team on their game.

Rajon Rondo won the Tommy Award. Tommy said that there was instant energy when he came into the game. Both Tanguay and Marshall say that Rondo should be in the game. Doc is an idiot if he sits this kid. He can play. he had 4 steals tonight and some incredible passes and made some good plays. Doc said that Telfair had chest pain and couldn't breathe and so they took him to the hospital and want to run all the tests possible because you don't mess around with chest pain. The Celtics sadly know this all too well.

This team is heading for the lotto. Can't even win at home. P2 played a great game though.

FSN announced that Bassy will be ok and that he is expected to travel with the team to Cleveland but is day to day whether he will play.

Doc is an idiot if he sits this kid. He can play. he had 4 steals tonight and some incredible passes and made some good plays. What's that? Doc not playing a promising rookie and sticking with vets that aren't getting it done? No way. Doc would never do such a thing. Who could have ever predicted that Rondo would be benched for someone not as good. I think this loss was way better than their win. They actually showed some heart now two games in a row. Didn't give up. Got screwed by the refs as usual. They are pretty much back on track now. A lottery team for sure, but not one I have to throw up at while watching.
