at Utah Jazz (4-1) at Boston Celtics (1-3) Friday November 10, 2006 TD Banknorth Garden 7:30 pm TV: NBA League Pass, FSN Radio: WRKO Probable Starters Point Guard Telfair VS Williams Shooting Guard Pierce VS Small Forward Szczerbiak VS Kirilenko Power Forward Gomes VS Boozer Center Ratliff VS Okur Key Bench Players Celtics West Perk Green Jazz Fisher Millsap Harpring Key Matchup vs Keys to the GameWally and Pierce have been shouldering the scoring load but they need someone else to step up. Hopefully West can get going after his game winner on Wednesday night. We could use some scoring from Gomes, Green, Allen and Telfair also. We need to come out with energy. If we sleep walk through the game like we did on Wednesday, this game could get ugly. We have to play DEFENSE! We haven't been able to get stops when we needed them in the past 4 games. We have to play defense if we expect to win against the better teams. Perk and Ratliff have to stay out of foul trouble to keep Scal's minutes to a minimum. Cut down on Turnovers. Wednesday, Pierce had 12 turnovers, Wally had 5, and Tony had 3 along with a couple others here and there. We have to take better care of the ball, make smart passes and stop the travels, palming, and offensive fouls.

I just added the game date to the subject FL.
Looking forward to the Celts rolling with the last win. Let's see if this team can get back to .500.... Then, move on the right track from there.

This is definately a winnable game. It would be nice to see this team string a few wins together and get back on track and have something to play for. The season is still young.

FL- You have a lot on your plate. I was just picking at the crumbs... BTW YOU can call me whatever you like. I just wanted to give tribute to Red for this season.

Are you implying I don't work as hard on this site as other people c17? I hope you are kidding... You were key in keeping CG up and running after the MJ crap. We made a good team that day. One I won't forget. I'm glad I had your email and MJ forgot you were a Mod. Without you we would have had to start from scratch. How many great members would have been lost in the mix-up without you.

Blah, Blah. I was just saying that because I probably would agree with you. What exactly is it that I do here?

What exactly is it that I do here? Ask questions like this so we can stroke your CFness... ;D 1- You are one of the first CG members. 2- You 'see' the games, as they are played. 3- You have solid input about the action on the court. 4- You are fun to BS with... Enough?

Ummm.... back to the topic at hand. I'm looking forward to this game. Hopefully the win from Wednesday night will ignite a winning attitude that propels us to better things. Utah is off to a good start and Boozer is playing well.
Pierce and Wally (especially Wally) are in midseason form with their scoring. Wally gets hot and is like a semi automatic.
