Improvement over the 1st game is not really saying much. I really think it is going to take a long time for this team to gel.
Doc Rivers will probably lose his job over this, soon.

Ok this is what i don't understand. Jefferson played agreat game and him, Rond o and Kandi get the team back in the game and what does Doc do. He takes them out to finish the game and what happens chauncey Billups makes Telfair look like an NBDL player, they start double teaming Pierce with whomever is guarding Perk and they end up turning the ball over and forcing bad shots. I saw this coming and pretty sure that everyone else did. How can Doc not see this.

I think one thing I see is that the players aren't trying very hard. I think that's a big part of it. Doc, not being very smart has a hard time realizing when a player is playing with no heart.
In the mean time the players are also playing pretty dumb. They're doing dumb things, but it seems Doc isn't willing to sit dumb players.
There is less than no leadership on this team. It would be nice if a player with heart called out everyone else and said something along the lines of "Hey PP why are you playing like a big puzzy? Seriously. get over the yeast infection"
If I'm a player on this team with any heart whatsoever tomorrow in practice PP gets clotheslined and then the player says "that's for playing with no heart the last two games"
And that player should probably be GG. Or it could be PP calling out the young guys.
Maybe call up Ray and give him some pt. Seriously. i don't care. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

the biggest thing i'm still afraid is doc's game management. i really hope they fire him before he spoils some youngsters' self-esteem. and he needs to play less west and gomes cause they pretty much suck right now. jefferson has been pretty good, he deserves to start. telfair also needs to step it up or rondo takes his place in no time. i tend to disagree with you eja in that players don't care. they do but it seems that they are poorly coached and they miss defensive rotations.

But still, why is Jefferson not starting. I also say now that Rondo should start. Telfair is playing unacceptable basketball. Send a message that if he doesn't come everynight, he sits. There is no reason why Telfair cannot perform like the PG he needs to be for us. AND there is no reason for a PG of his caliber to only have 1 assist and no rebounds!! Whereas Rondo who is the same height virtually, had a better and more even stat line, though not impressive for a possible starting option for us. We once agian have no true point guard. What happened to the telfair of the Preseason?

Yep, Rajon and Jefferson start. They are playing with the most energy and they are producing the most. Perkins had a much better game tonight, but Jefferson is outplaying him right now.
BC, Gomes is not playing poorly. He is taking what is given to him. He's doing a good job of knocking down elbow jumpers when passes are thrown his way. Its just that the team forgot about him. Guys need to find him more in the flow of the offense.
Delonte is not fitting in with this new system right now. He holds onto the ball too long and he doesn't look to take quick shots. He often gets the ball and has a slight window of opportunity to launch a shot, but out-thinks himself and ends up holding the ball for a few seconds, and that just kills our offensive flow.
