I'm sure people alot of people after one game feel this lineup doesn't work and we should revert back to a bigger lineup. But, what are the chances maybe this lineup might build some cohension? If we follow the "5 best players" philosophy on starting lineup, wasn't last night an indication that those are our 5 best players?
I think alot of last night failure has to do with lack of preparation and inexperience with this style thus I feel we should give it some time before a new strategy is installed or a new coach comes into office.
I think it has a chance to work but I have my doubts like everyone else. I'm just hoping it does pick-up I can't stand seeing this team getting demised especially this season being dedicated to Red. Something needs to happen, we can't keep on wasting seasons away. Someone please STEP UP.

I think the small ball lineup can work. But to work, the small ball lineup must play defense. And of course, the small ball lineup must run constantly--something that wasn't happening last night.

has a small ball team ever won the championship? i doubt it. Just the concept of small ball doesn't make that much sense. If they think Rondo matches up better with other sgs (he doesn't. He matches up with pgs) or that PP matches up better with pfs (nope) or Al matches up better with centers (I was moderately impressed with what Al did or at least tried to do last nite) then i guess they should play small ball. But I don't think that's a good idea, Just cause you can do something doesn't mean you should. I just don't think this
Bassy - Rondo
is better than this
Bassy- GG or Bassy - Wally or Rondo - GG or Rondo - Wally
and don't think this
Al-Gomes-PP or Al - PP - Wally is much better than
Perk - Al - PP or Perk - Gomes - PP or Al- Gomes -PP
The only way that works is if they think Gomes can outplay most starting pfs in the league (very tall order) and if Al can out play Perk.
I mean if we want to go real small we can start playing Bassy - Rondo- West- Ray - TA. I mean why not tiny ball? Let's go smaller.

i hope danny trades away a couple of our smalls for a big. seems that the only way doc uses right people is when he doesn't have wrong people (that doesn't mean our smalls can't play)
