Both Jeff from CelticsBlog and Justin from CelticsStuff Live are checking their sources to see if they can get a verification. I am really, really hoping that Felger and Tanguay misunderstood Dickerson and that Dickerson was maybe talking about Bosh and they thought he was talking about Rondo. I will let you know if I get any more information.

If its true, its best to rest him. Being so young, we can't afford to jepordize his future by making him play on a sour foot.
Lucky for us, we have Delonte backing up Telfair at PG. He's more than a capable backup.

Perhaps Ed Lacerte can spice up that foot a bit, so it isn't so sour. I kind of think the FSN guys were just confused. It's believable considering Tanguay can get confused very easily.

I am listening to NEST right now and Tanguay said once again that Rondo is suffering from Plantar fasciitis. So I guess it is true since he brought it up again.

Not good at all. Rajon is a big reason why we can push the tempo and play aggressive defense. He's an instigator on defense and he's a ball thief. We need him on the floor doing his magic in order to be as good as we can be. Losing Rajon is a significant step backwards. Not as much as losing Pierce, but we will definitely feel the void he leaves defensively and when he pushes the ball.
But at least we have Delonte, and it appears that he and Telfair play well with one another.

Even in saying that he has it, they haven't said that he was going to be out. I wonder if it isn't very severe and they can treat it while he is playing. They were still talking about who would start and who would come off the bench even while talking about the PF... So hopefully we won't lose him .. but it is a possibility because it is a chronic condition.

I would advise them to take it easy with his foot. Speed is a huge part of his game and I don't care how quick you are--you can't move fast with a foot problem. Its not worth a few more wins this season if we end up damaging his foot that will bother him throughout his career.

Right DM. Take it easy untill he is sound. Remember, West and Jefferson... We don't need that again. We can get by with DW and TA at point, as needed.
