Wow, we were already pretty young last year. Over the summer, we've added 5 more players who are younger than 22 yrs old.
Which newcomer will have the best 1st season as a Celtic?

Telfair because he will start more games than any other mentioned and will average at least 10 points and at least 6 assists.
Rajon Rondo - will not get as many minutes as the rest to have a better season. Look for him to come out next year or the year after.
Theo Ratliff - with Perk starting and playing big minutes, Theo will be a good backup but not get enough minutes as Bassy to make as big of an impact on the stat sheet.
Leon Powe - just backup minutes. possibly NBDL
Allan Ray - same as above, maybe even possibly cut.
Kevin Pittsnogle - he will be cut, If not NBDL.

I think Rondo will have the best year. I can see Telfair starting but Rondo coming on toward the end of the season like Gomes did last year and really doing well.

Rajon Rondo is my man and I have a lot of good things to say about this dynamic kid, but I will have to vote for Telfair (I'm also big of his). Rajon could eventually take the starting spot from Telfair, but I don't think it will happen this year. This season, I see Doc using Delonte as a backup PG for 2 reasons: -Delonte already has a full year of experience of running this team -Doc will try to use Delonte wherever he can
Rajon's tremendous defense and his creative playmaking ability could eventually make him our starter, but for this season, his 1st in the NBA, he will do a lot of watching. He could see more playing time in the second half, as Doc's confidence in him grows.
As for Ratliff, I see him getting a lot of minutes. He and Perk will need to energize our defense with their shot blocking and rebounding. But I still think Telfair will have a better 1st season with us.
I think both Powe and Ray will begin the year in the NBDL. Not much playing time to go around for either of them so rather than rotting on the bench, Ainge will try to keep them in game shape by having them play for Dennis Johnson's team.
And yeah, I think Pittsnogle will be cut.

I guess in a way just making the team would mean Pitt, Ray, or Powe would have the best season, but in terms of playing time I think Sebass, but by the end of the season Rondo will show enough evil pword to give us a point guard controversy going into next season. I think all three pgs will show enough talent and/or pwords to keep us arguing another year before someone steps up. I kinda think it will be Rondo but I also kinda think it'll be West. I think all three in a way will be too good to keep all three around. The only thing that could releive it woul dbe if West emerges to play 2nd or 3rd string minutes at two or three postions. That might solve the problem.
