Cool, JB. I hope he talks a lot about international talent. With all the scouting Ainge, Chris Wallace, and some of our other contacts have been doing in Europe all these years, you think we'd draft one by now.

*********** We tried hard to get Nowitzki. Milwaukee traded the pick above us to Dallas. We missed the boat on Parker, along with about 25 other teams, even though at least one of our "brain trust" (reportedly Wallace) wanted to take him instead of Forte. We did draft Songailla, but had no use for him. Other than Dino Radja, from the dark ages and the season of Jiri Welsh, we really haven't benefitted from whatever effort the team is putting into scouting "over there," We surely will be pumping Fabio for his opinions on the next big player(s) to make his(their) way over and also the impact on the NBA of having more and more international players.

Oh, I was talking about since Ainge came aboard. Anything before him, I consider the dark ages (well, after the Bird era, that is).

We've already recorded the interview, since the time difference is so great and we did discuss, among other things, all the Celtics that were from overseas. Dino Radja, Stoijko Vrankovic, Jan Tabak, Jiri Welsch, Darius Songaila and Briuno Sundov were all we could come up with. Fabio did spend a few minutes on why we have had such poor results from Europe and what could be done about it.
