I'm not even sure the Clippers are interested in moving him, but I would like to see Ainge make a stab at him.
Chris Kaman is an underrated overachieving big man who is a very good rebounder, who can score in various ways, and has a terrific motor that is always running. The main reason why I'm interested in getting him is because the guy can flat out rebound. He's not a strong guy or a physical marvel, but plays with a hard nose that allows him to outrebound more gifted athletes.
He plays alongside of Elton Brand, so his numbers may not seem all that impressive. But last season, in a game against the Wolves, he had a monstrous 24 pt 23 rebound game, along with 3 block shots. Earlier in the season, against the Bobcats, he had a 22 pt 22 rebound game.
I really feel that he can be a big piece to our puzzle. If he and Perkins can rotate at Center, we are in very good shape there.

THe Clips are really high on him. I'd say the C's would have to offer Al and Grren to even get them to listen, and I seriously doubt that those two would impress them that much.

Kaman is definitely unavailable. Why would Clippers give up a 10-10 guy for scraps? Definitely an upcoming center in this league

Kaman reminds of a decent player, playing for a bad team, w/ good stats. Though, he has passion for the game.

I mentioned this guy like a montha go and nobody said anything. AL J and GG is way too much to give for him. I think Perk can be better than him but has a ways to go. I'd be willing to offer some of our guards and AL and PP and some of our scraps like Scala and DJones, but that's it. Kaman strikes me as a center on the rise, but I think if he were playing here with AL J next to him instead of Brand we'd find out how good he really is real fast. He doesn't strike me as a guy who can win you a championship, but could maybe help you win one with Brand beside him. I think trying to get him would require giving too much to try to solve a problem he can't solve.
