Some Highlights from the Gabe Kahn Chat over on Celtics Blog. I am including the link in case you want to read the whole thing.

Interesting that they went in and supposedly found nothing. I kind of go with the guy who said they misdiagnosed it and now are trying to put a positive spin on it. I would think that they wouldn't go in unless something showed up. The fact that someone who knows him mentioned the surgery days before it happened and said that he had been misdiagnosed and there were chips in there to clean out makes me think it wasn't just nothing.
Good to hear. I hope he can play the year without any problems with it.

All the injuries? Ok, I’ll give it a shot. Jefferson APPARENTLY was a last minute decision. I’m told that Al told the C’s Docs that he felt something in the ankle, and, more for piece of mind than anything else, they went it to scope it out.
When they went in, they found nothing, and they’re saying it was as minor as could be. That’s all they say there is to it.
Pierce, I think he’s waiting for the elbow surgery until his friends leave Vegas (they USA National Team). Then he’ll have it…

Oh yes, Wally
Apparently, and this is updated info, his knee is much better than was first reported by FSN. It’s much better than it was last season and, while it won’t ever be 100% again, it ought to be as close as it will get

That said, I think the biggest reason they signed Powe was to get Jefferson some time dealing with a tough guy in practice to take him to the next level
I think the signing of Powe was proof that they wanted Jefferson to learn how to deal with toughness…Doc alluded to that when i spoke to him, and it may be a big help

From what I hear, AI to the C’s is dead. It doesn’t sound like Danny every really wanted it to happen. I think he wasn being pushed from the owners more than anything else…
It’s a little early to know how Clifford Ray is coaching–he really just started and we haven’t had any games! But, he was VERY vocal in Vegas (if u watched any games on TV, the screaming was his).
Gerald, in my opinion, isn’t gonna be here for the long haul. I’ve never really believed he was Danny’s guy, instead I think he was a guy that Danny couldn’t pass up on in the draft for obvious reasons. He plays a position that the C’s are stacked with
and he still doesn’t have a clue how to play D or a team oriented offense. I think he’s one of the first guys Danny offers when he looks for big deal.

The C’s would LIKE to make a deal, but right now, they’re not getting the type of offers they’d like to see. They don’t want to, but they may start the season with the roster they have now.....I think the C’s are going to try to bring a vet all star in here, if not before the season (when everyone thinks they’re in the playoff hunt) then b4 the trade deadline, when reality hits and some guys become available.
How is (Telfair) with the other guys? A little early to tell. But, from my brief interactions with him, he seemed like a really good kid. He was MAD after they lost that Denver game in Vegas, which speaks to his competitive nature.
And remember, he played REALLY well that game. I was on the fence with him when the trade first happened, but he may end up being the best pure PG the C’s have had since…I dunno, Sherm douglas maybe? DJ?
