This week's show will air Sunday night from 7:00PM until 9:00PM, EST. Our guest will be Gary Tanguay; star of stage, screen and television. We pre-recorded an interview with him last night and he proved; gracious, articulate and enthusiastic. In case you missed last weeks show, with Jon Duke and Eric Weiss (Eric attended the entire Vegas summer league), it is available on the home page. celtics.mostvaluablenetwork.com/celticsstuff-live-a-toll-free-call-in-webcast/ We are presently working on our own site, with our own domain. Aside from the link to the streaming shows and regular features from Jughead, myself and perhaps another regular writer and/or guest contributors, we will keep open the chat room: 24/7. I personally am very excited about this aspect of our offering, as it allows for all of us to gather in one spot and share news and views of breaking stories and post game raves and laments. The chat has been very well utilized during the shows and I think it will be a lot of fun on a permanent basis. We will not have message boards, or try to link every news story, as these aspects of fandom are already being provided quite well on many other venues. The new web site should be up and running by Labor Day. Stay Tuned. JB

Great show tonight JB... Excellent interview with Tanguay.
If you missed it, Tanguay said that Wally's knee is bone on bone and that he doesn't expect him to be able to play a full season.
If this is true, I don't see him being tradeable, either. This brings up a whole new line of thought for this season.
Perhaps Delonte will be the starting SG instead of Wally and Wally could come off the bench, which would help him if his knees are really that bad.
Great stuff tonight JB! The show just keeps getting better and better!!!!

Thanks Shirley. Here's a story on Wally's off season whereabouts.
Wally Z., ducking bats on Long Island.-N.Y. Daily News <http://www.nydailynews.com/boroughs/v-pfriendly/story/439348p-370167c.html>
It was also reported in today's Globe that the Szczerbiak's have just closed on a house in North Lexington.
Our interview with Tanguay was picked up this AM on "Hoops Hype" as well as several local blogs. ;>)
My own feeling is that the Celtics were aware of the seriousness of his knee problems . Red of Red's Army posted to the chat, that there was an article from the time of the trade, that mentioned; "bone on bone." Rivers really screwed up by using him for more minutes than the medical staff recommended.Remember those stories? A lot of good it did the team to wear down his knee like that. If we'd made the playoffs, I could accept it.
Hopefully we'll still get 25 good minutes a night from him, perhaps in my preferred 6th man role, which not only would add rebounding, speed and/or defensive abilities to the starting spot, but add Szczerbiak's poinse shooting ability and passing skills to stabalize the back up unit.
