We currently have 3 that can all play. Ultimately I think only 2 of them are going to be able to play a large role on this team considering our current SF glut. Now I'm assuming Telfair is Ainge's guy so he is not going to be traded although if I had to choose between the 3, he would be the one to go. Say we can land a top 10 player, would you keep West or roll the dice on Rondo. The thing is West is our best shooter at that position. It's not even close so I would rather keep West. Telfair has the most tricks and more experience currently but I like Rondo's style of play, he is smooth, and his defense.

One thing about it, we have Telfair for 2 more years and Rondo for 4. We'll have plenty of time to see which one we'll commit financially to.

The way I see it, I want the best playmaking PG. Shooting the ball well is secondary--the main thing for a PG is to distribute the ball and set up players for easier shots. If this is the criteria, Telfair would be the best, followed by Rajon, and then Delonte.
But its hard to trade Delonte because he's such a quality player. He's not just a terrific shooter, but a terrific all around basketball player.

I think Delonte can become a very good 6th man for our team. A man who can come in to change the flow of the game by the way he plays on both ends of the court. You keep players like Delonte because you never know what injuries might occur down the road.

I definitely think Delonte can have a big role on the team, regardless if he's starting or coming off the bench. And he's stated that he's alright with whatever role the team wants him to fill. That's a true team player--doing what the team needs him to do. Another terrific quality about Delonte.
Plus, he's a shooting guard by nature, so he will still find time on the court even when Rondo and Telfair split time at PG.
