You guys have already by now that Rajon Rondo is going to be a Celtic. The Suns traded him to us for the Cav's 1st round pick in '07.
Danny Ainge is going to be on Fox Sports Net tonight at 10pm. Mike Gorman is saying that Ainge would have taken Rondo at 7. If this is true, Ainge really likes Rondo, and likes him more than Foye. To me, this speaks volumes of how highly Ainge thinks of Rondo. Many experts thought that Foye could have gone much higher than 7.
But how could Ainge been so daring to think that Rajon would have lasted all the way to #21?

Did we get Brian Grant for him, too? Or are we just paying his contract?

The way they said it was that we would pay his contract. They didn't say he was traded so I don't think we get him.

Not sure R. I just like the deal being done. We pay Reaf or we pay Grant. Nice to know we have Rondo in place, even if he needs a year in the NBDL.

Got this from Celtics.com - it looks like we get the rights to Brian Grant and not just have to pay his salary....
