Is that the plan for Philly. I wasn't aware of their rebuilding plans. In that case, I can see them wanting Jefferson or Gerald in this deal. They will probably want to build around Iguodala and Dalembert, and add young guys like Carlos Boozer and Gerald Green/Al Jefferson.
I can see them wanting either Telfair or Delonte to be their future PG, and like you mentioned FL, Sebastian played under Cheeks in Portland so there might be the desire to get him to run the offense now in Philly. Delonte may also be the one to go because he's a much better shooter, but we'll see. Odds are, Telfair is the one Philly wants.

JB, I've considered the possibility of Pierce being in this Iverson trade talk as well. I mean, if the 76'ers are going to lose their superstar, they'd certainly want a star player in return (at least 1). But I'm debating this over my head because it also appears that Ainge is trying to muster a deal that will get Iverson here to play with Pierce, and not replace him. Iverson has never learned to play with anyone else, what makes you think he will start now? Two volume shooters in the back court will not get us a championship. Imho: if we do trade for Iverson, it will be to flip him for Garnette, or Pierce is outa here. Now that we have a point guard and wouldn't ask for Heinrich,, if the Bulls are rebuffed in their attempt to get Garnette, look for rumors of a Gordon, Deng and a pick for Pierce to heat up again.

The only basis I have is watching Iverson play during All-Star games. He truly looks to pass up the ball and not just hog it like he normally does in Philly. In Philly, he had no one to give the ball up to. He was the only show. Webber came in and tried to be the other scorer, but Pierce is a deadlier scorer than Webber in this stage of his career.
I think Iverson will make the change if he's serious about winning a title. Pierce will be the best player he's ever played alongside of. He will relinquish his volume scoring to share the load with PP.

kinda reminds when dj came to boston. baggage, supposedly over the hil etc D.J. already had a ring, wasn't making $18,000,000 per year and new his job: defend Michael Jordan and feed McHale in the post. Iverson is a law unto himself: won't willingly attend practices, or appears late and hangs with a posse larger than the C's roster.
